Volunteering

What are the benefits of volunteering or interning?

The benefits in becoming involved at CWE are many and varied. Listed below are a few of these benefits:

How do I apply?

You can apply electronically; once we receive your application we will contact you.

Will I get paid for the intership?

No, all internships opportunities with CWE are on a volunteer basis. Please check with your educational institution for possible offsite work study grants, but we do not offer paid internships

Can I obtain credit for the internship?

We will work with your educational institution to establish an internship that will achieve the deliverables for your college credit.

What are the agency's expectations of volunteers?

That all of our volunteers are committed to CWE's mission and agree to fulfill their time commitment, are willing to learn and are dependable. All volunteers are expected to comply with and sign volunteer forms.

What kind of time commitment do I need to give?

We are looking for volunteers and interns who can commit a minimum of one month. The number of hours per week and volunteer days vary per opportunity and your schedule.

What types of volunteer opportunities are available?
